I'm digging Safari...
However, my biggest complaint is how difficult it is to open something up in another tab. It seems to want to open in a new window so badly.

Center-click = new window.

Can't seem to default things to open as a new tab.

The options say, ctrl-click and ctrl-shift-click should open in a new tab. It works sometime, but if I'm opening something from GMail, it still opens in a new window.

I have to right-click and then tell it to open in a new tab, if I want it to work that way.

Otherwise, I'm happy with just about everything, excluding how it handles rich formatting on blackboard. (But that's not huge.) And I can't center-click to close a tab, but with the X on the tab, that's not huge either.

Gmail gives me problems on ctrl-clicking in every browers. I can't really help you much because I'm using it on a mac but I thought there was an option to default to new tab....

See, in FireFox, you can click a box and have everything that you click to open, that would open in another window, open in a new tab.
