The catch is, I've got to remember, this is just a momentary blip! (I first wrote "monetary blip" so my blip was a Freudian slip.) I was so tempted by the end of the weekend to go and tell my managers to "Take these bar shifts and shove it!"
Of course, I would never say that, it would more likely be, "I'm not making any money back there, ya gotta get me out from behind the bar!"
But I'm not going to do it. I begged for these shifts. I will get this bar going. It's just gonna take time. Build up business. Get more regulars. Of course, your regulars are going to be out of town on Easter weekend, accept that fact.
But it's still frustrating to be this far behind where I normally am...
